Was just reading this again and this is insanely hot! I can't stop reading it. The way Tanner corrupts Pastor Peter gets me going every time I come back to it.

As you know I respect this story and loved it so far. That said, this chapter of jumping back and forth was confusing. I have a slight clue of what's going on (Charlie the dog is Charles the douchebag?) So many first person narratives. I'm glad other readers understood and enjoyed.

Such a cute and hot story... one both feels sad and happy for Nate at the same time :)

Hi @Jonanator, thanks for your comment - I'm gonna take a bit of a break for now, let my brain cook up some new ideas. But I'll be back when I have a new story! In the meantime, @MisterXIX and I will, at some point continue with our co-written story "The Devil by My Side"!

Another 5 star rating in every category!!! Such a hot and tender story. I was so scared when he went into the bookstore, he would lose Charlie. I panicked when he panicked thinking the worse. And I think something is up with that bookstore. And many thanks for the shout out in your comment above.

I think you might be onto something there, @PupScout! Plus, you deserved the shoutout - love your stories!

Bravo! What a great story. I love the dog calling cock his "tail." Sweet, hot and innocent. 5 Woofs.

Thanks @PupScout! I'll be aiming to get more 5 Woof ratings!

What a sweet ending, and hot to boot. Kinda sad Brett had to leave though, I hope he'll find his own happiness

Thanks! It's hard to write an ending where everyone gets what they want, especially in such a vulnerable triangle. I didn't want to feel like I was rushing the ending, but, it felt like there was a natural conclusion to the story and Brett just wasn't it. He was a facilitator for the plot in some ways, but I think it was important that he decided to leave, himself. It's true to our reality - sometimes people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

What a beautiful story! I feel sorry for Brett, but am glad that Harry and Charlie found happiness in the end.

Thank you @Hypnoguy67! I'll agree, there's a slight bittersweetness to the way things wrapped up. I like to think that Brett knew that all along he was really there to support Harry when he needed it, as a friend. I tried to balance their relationship as being one that was meaningful to them, but not romantic. I think Brett deciding that both he and Harry deserved more than that was the best way to craft a satisfying ending.

Holy crap that was hot! I enjoyed him treating Derek as an object - I considered that part of the fantasy/magic for that "scene" he did for him. I came back to re-read it and I see the edits made, and I think that will help some of these observations others had. Me, I *thoroughly* enjoyed this.

Gonna be honest, I'm missing the romantic angle to this story. Is it a slow-burn?

@amul lots more story to come. Romance is fashionably late to some parties.
