Oh yes, this one hits close to home. Excellent stuff. Thanks for the movie recommendation as well, definitely going to give that a watch.

That was partly the goal, hitting close to home! I really appreciate that compliment. It seems I can’t write a story without some level of seriousness, but that just makes it more fun for me. (If I’d had time to respond to this comment before you watched the movie, I’d have told you to enjoy! I’m glad you enjoyed, anyway, lol.) @Razz TFs

This has been amazing! I just binge-read to catch up and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.

@Razz TFs Aww you're too kind! I'm so happy to hear you've been enjoying it so far. :D

Next chapter really soon, I swear. It's sitting at 15k words, I just need to trim and polish a bit more. Real life has been a bit of a disaster lately.

Questions for clarification: With the current edits, what defines straight for people in this world? And even potentially gay? Because if straight people like gay porn and straight guys like blowjobs, aren't they then bisexual? And if everyone wants to "have fun" with Tyler and Marc, then wouldn't that make lesbian women bisexual if they meet Tyler and straight men bi or gay if they have sex with Marc? And do straight women have their own equivalent of sexual things they do with other women but don't see as lesbian? Finally, do gay people in this world have any edits that make them sometimes do sexual things with the opposite sex, like straight people in this story do with the same sex? ...Come to think of it, I could see Sam making some kind of everyone is bisexual edit due to the pressures of previous edits and his intense desire to be straight colliding. *** "It's completely, totally straight for all straight people to be totally attracted to both sexes" Sam wrote in the book. "What the hell are you doing? Can't you just accept you like guys? Making all straight people like both sexes...then they're not straight anymore!" Gabe said. "Screw you. Literally and otherwise." "Well, I guess you're a lot more hunky and I'm into guys and we're friends... so...but I can't believe you would--" "I can't believe you're so judgmental. I wish you knew what I felt li--oh." Sam used his mental connection to the book to write something on a page that Gabe wouldn't see. "Everyone in the world, straight, gay, bisexual, or any orientation; from this moment on, will be totally attracted to both sexes and very horny." "What did you do?!?" Gabe screamed. "I don't know." "I'm fantasizing about girls now...and guys. So confusing." "So's everyone else pal. How do you feel now that you know what it's like for your sexuality to be screwed with? You're as gay as I am straight." "Seriously. Fuck you." "In the bed?" "Hell yeah." *** I'm not sure if that fanfic of mine is due to me being horny or actually understanding the characters. Or both. I await your critique, BlueSuedeWho!

Oh wow! More fanfiction! I love it! So I don't talk much about what being "gay" or "straight" means outside of the couple of core characters, in particular Sam redefining the term "straight" basically every day. My personal interpretation (since I don't actually write about it in the text) is that lots of people in this new reality are functionally bisexual and just in general have fewer hangups about experimenting. Terminology/categories are weird in Sam's reality because he writes things like "straight guys all love blowing dudes." @RainbowMika91

Love the story so far. I wonder who Issac ends up with?

Good question! More coming soon. I’m glad you’re enjoying it! @Jonanator

The tempo remains great here! Feels like it’s building toward something—looking forward to culmination. (Culmination autocorrected to cum inflation on my phone. If you know it you know it =P )

@Soren Fitz Haha your phone is getting too intuitive!

The subtle homoeroticism during the cupcake scene is great and keeps the sexual tempo up. I enjoyed it!

11/8/21, 7:34 PM
@Soren Fitz Love a bit of homoeroticism!

The slow burn switch here is good—you used that sex scene in the first chapter to get readers hooked, and the idea here is great.

@Soren Fitz Wow. You have a good eye for detail. Well done on picking up on that change of pace. It was a deliberate move to slow down the story and move from sex to romance, reflecting on the character's changing motivations. I appreciate you mentioning it!
