Please never stop writing. Your pacing is wonderful, and you maintain an excellent balance between the parts of the story you 'show' and the parts you more overtly 'tell.' Such a gift. I have been trying to write a story for ages in the hope that, with enough editing, rewriting, and input, it can satisfy in the way that Scott's story does.

What a wonderfully imagined and well-written story! It really resonated with me. I'm a long-married senior (just turned 65) with a wife I dearly love and two great kids that I'm really proud of. I'm also a closeted gay man and I've often thought about what if I could, like Scott, go back in time to my college days and have the courage to admit to my family and friends that I was a "homo-sexual" (the polite term when I was young). What I have been happier? Maybe. Had a more satisfying life? Possibly. I guess I've been lucky enough to end up where I am with many things to be grateful for. Thank you so much for writing something that I'll certainly come back to read again and again but keep thinking about what if...?

I've loved many of your other stories Cris, But you did an exceptional job with this one. Torn between not wanting it to end and being completely satisfied with the ending. Great Job!!

A sweet and wonderful end to an incredible story. It was very true to life.No one lives life without it's ups and downs. Intimacy and companionship should be enjoyed when they can be since we don't know what is around the corner. I think this was a very life affirming story. The new timeline worked out quite well. Another feather in your proverbial cap. Thanks for sharing your talent with us once again!

This story was fantastic and I'm glad it focused more on relationships and happiness than sex and revenge.

Thanks, LongtimeFan! Wasn't trying to be overly humble, just acknowledging that this one in particular seems to be hitting some real emotional buttons. Heck, I choked up WRITING chapter seven, so I'm glad it had a similar impact when people read it.
