I liked it, but it still felt too easy for Derek and Charles. Charles did end up drugging his husband, and there seems to be more issues that really should lead to a hasty divorce, but I guess it is good ending for everyone. I just really wanted Derek to end up in a better position.

That. Was. INCREDIBLE! You tied together every loose end, but everything felt justified and clever. Everyone gets a happy ending--I was especially surprised by Pierce finally being offered a job that will perfectly suit him--and has grown from the experience. There's a definite magic to your stories: the classic "journey of discovery," with a wonderfully gay twist. Cris, you are, bar none, one of the best gay authors I have ever read--period. And the fact that you offer these amazing stories to everyone just so we can enjoy them...it's incredible. Well done, Mr. Kane. Well done.

I've really enjoyed each installment of this series! Such a creative idea overall, and great execution of it in the writing. Kudos!

geez, Darren is so stuck up still. can't believe he isn't enjoying being the Spike more. he's so lame. you'd have thought he'd get his kicks from showing off his body (and cock) more as a porn star - really connecting with his fav character. sadly not. a shame.

Holy shit... I didn't see the twist with Todd taking both shots coming at all. Amazing twist - I'm so nervous for what's gonna happen next. I'm so stoked that Theo and Todd are getting together. I just hope Todd's (permenant!) transformation doesn't kill it. Also, I laughed my ass off when the clear plastic divider became a plot point again.

I'm totally engaged on this story. The writing and the twists are superb. The shock of Todd being permanently transformed is immense. I really liked him as he was and wonder how he will be in a transformed state. I hope his personality isn't too harshly changed. Iowa was perfect as he was!

Pierce is really good at making really bad decisions. You'd think he'd be better about handling Maripossa at this point, but you'd be wrong. Hopefully this doesn't ruin anything for Todd, O, or Derek (and i guess Charles/Blu but it's harder to feel bad for him).

I've already commented multiple times on the wonderful characters you have produced especially Pierce. This is the chapter where Todd comes into his own and it's great. But what's even greater is your idea: Derek and Charles had to have Mariposa in order to wake up to who they are. Todd (and O) don't need that kind of stimulus. It's a very nice narrative parallelism you've created and it makes Todd's story all the more intriguing and satisfying. And again, how you come up with the stuff Pierce says, like “How’d he get through customs, smuggling that banana and those pomegranates?” is an ever-stimulating way of creating and maintaining character, especially if a reader thinks you have no more tricks up your sleeve. Bravo!

What an incredible new chapter! I'm SO glad Todd gets someone who loves him--and it looks as though he's about to permanently transform...as for Derek and Blu, I wonder what will happen when the former finally learns about his husband's own Mariposa mix? You have such a gift. Thanks for always writing such super stories!
