How did I miss this story when it came out? It's now one of favorites, and I'll definitely be coming back to it often. I read this in pretty much one sitting after midnight, and then immediately started brainstorming my own story based on it. Seriously, this story is all of my favorite things. Muscle growth, dumbing down, himbofacation/bro-ing, true love triumphing against evil assholes, and a happy ending. It's just a very fun story. The beginning is a good set-up and surprisingly romantic, setting up the love these men have for each other and for their son. The transformations are hot, but also pretty rough because everything that makes them who they are is stripped away from them. Their sexuality, their marriage, their years of experience, their identities... Daniel loses his intelligence, and presumably his ability to write; Steve loses his compassion, his ability and willingness to care about others. Dan can't touch any of his writing and Stu can't cook, one of the things that symbolized that compassion. The parts where they're taking care of Justin are really fun (and yes, heartbreaking), and i found myself wanting MORE of that. Seeing my scroll bar approach the bottom and knowing things were about to wrap up made me sad. If i have any complaints, it would be more adventures of the husbros and son. I would also have liked to get to know Justin more and get a better grasp of who the kid is. All of that aside, the way you managed to show how great of parents they were, and how even changed they were still a family was very well done. And that ending...i could write a whole comment thread just about that ending. But to keep it short, the whole process of them realizing that Ellias was actually an awful person who did them no favors, of fighting back against a demigod (or whatever), and of turning his own powers against him, maybe not getting back everything they lost, but getting back what really mattered (and showing that they were more than what he took away) was absolutely fantastic. Conversion therapy aside, one of my issues with "gay to straight" stories is they're actually "gay to toxic masculinity". The guys lose their compassion, becoming sexist, homophobic bullies, and are generally unpleasant to be around, as exemplified by Ellias and his bros. There are women in the story, but they never get names or agency. They're just objects to show off how "masculine" the bros are and to be used for sex. We don't see the bros being actively homophobic, but they changed their victims' sexuality casually, and its easy to imagine they've done this before. But then you have Daniel and Steve, Dan and Stu, and they take this and reconstruct what positive masculinity looks like. The compassion Daniel poured into his writing is what convinced Stu he wants to be a better person, and their love for their son, uncaring about their "image" is what saves them. Seriously, i could write a whole essay just about the deconstruction and reconstruction of every aspect of this story, and maybe some day i will. But for now, I'm going to enjoy reading this, try to actually finish my own take on it, and waiting for the next chapter of "Undue Resentment" (which is how i found this). I hope you see this, and keep up the great work.

A great continuation. I really enjoy the slow burn change. The subtle nods to the main character drinking cum to speed up the change without knowing it is also fun. The reality rewrite is also done really well. "Just like any other day". And we all know what happens in detention, don't we. There can't be too many humans left in the school at this rate. Maybe just the checkers club. :)

This is so good, man, really reminds me of Knothole High and stuff like that. Not many stories here that combine anthros (especially canines) with jocks and masculinization. This story is hitting all of my buttons, from the massive bulking up to the mental changes and jockification. I don’t know what you have planned, but I always enjoy seeing the transformation spread out over a longer period of time rather than one event, but this is still awesome.

Time for an updated summary of everything that is going on here: 1) Base Nick - Your classic straight* himbo: big, dumb, and kind. Can be a little full of himself, but kind to his friends, teammates, and roommate. Has a magic* dick that women are attracted to, and when fucking puts both partners in "the zone" and they black out/go on automatic; we don't know if this effects dudes. Listens to dudes (he respects/ with authority?) To such an extent that they can make him cum or change his way of thinking (though there is a chance something else magnifies this). Wants Darius to be in control of him. Might be into pup play. 1.1) Hypnotized Nick - Gwen's computer program has hypnotized him and is making him a douchy gay jock bro. He's becoming ruder, more controlling, and much more critical of everyone around him. Thinks he knows best and everyone, including Darius, should just listen to him and do as he says. Much more "dominant". Still wants to be with Darius. Unaware 1.2) Cursed Nick - Deborah has cursed him, possibly to be more of a dom top. When he us assertive he gains muscle. Teammates, opposing players, and his coach feel sick when they oppose him and are much more willing to back down and follow him. Ill effects might go away when they listen, and they seem more inclined to do so. Darius hasn't gotten sick from him yet. Still wants to be with Darius. Unaware 1.3) Puppy Nick - Gets joy out of listening to Darius, wearing his collar, and doing what he says. Generally kind and more willing to try to be a better person. Often says this is exactly what he wants and has consented to, but Darius has doubts. Can (currently) override alpha douche king. Aware 2) Base Darius - Gay guy, decently in shape with some muscle tone. Attracted to his roommate and worried about having so much control over someone. 2.1) "Hypnotized" Darius - Intended to make him a submissive gay beta. Broken from a combination of him already being gay and his father calling during the first dose. Immediately sends his computer away, so doesn't fets the 2-3 weeks of dosing Nick got. No known lasting effects. Aware 2.2) Cursed Darius - Deborah has cursed him, possibly to be more of a submissive bottom. She thought it would force him to listen to whatever she asked him to do, but doesn't seem to. He loses muscle when he is submissive to Nick, and Nick can force him to change his mind, including forgetting things. Unaware Am i missing anything so far? Looking forward to future chapters and being utterly shattered when Nick goes full on Alpha douche and loses himself, probably hurting Darius and effecting his mind as well.. (Hopefully followed by a happy ending, of course.)
