I'm a sucker for a romantic possession story and this one is great so far. I hope our officer is treated as well as Ben by whomever continues this tale.

I am sorry but the moment I saw "Ben Shapiro" I couldn't stop reading all his lines in that nasaly voice and my boner died down, really liked the writing though ngl

I'm delighted to see you continue this storyline. It's a refreshing take on the genre and full of anticipation and potential. Can't wait to read the next installment.

I'm a sucker for process-focused changes and control, so this was a real delight! I'm so glad I finally had the chance to read it.

You named your protagonist “Ben Shapiro”?

@[Speaks](/user/show/964546) _“Well, when the war couldn’t kill him and neither could the Republicans, Mother Nature — that bitch — turned to the only thing that could. Cancer. Three weeks. That’s all it took and his body became a memory.”_ There might be a bit of a political riff in this one, but let me assure you with every honest bone in my body: "The characters are fictional. Any similarity to persons dead or alive is coincidental." :)

@[Rock Creek Werewolf](/user/show/10002145) Thank you! The idea just sprang into my head the other day when I was walking past a "retirement" complex thinking about how cool it would be if somehow thieves were punished for their thieving. Weird combination, right? And then, of course, sex had to have its place... ;)

@[Cutlerfan](/user/show/14171) So do I! I really like the concept; there are just too many other ideas I need to get out of my skull. Plus, some of the writers here are so good I'm excited by what they might do!

Can't wait for the next part. Trying to figure out if this went according to Sean's plan or not. Hoping something backfired on him. The Florida imagery with the mutant gators looks like foreshadowing. Is that the compromised tech that will infect other workers or will Patrick have to take them out. Thanks for the twist (and tug).

@[TexMuscle](/user/show/10002223) Thank you! (I can't say anything else though. Too spoiler-y.)

@[Nocturne13](/user/show/263497) Did Patrick get to alter his own course by selecting the hunter wedge from the wheel? Sounded like he did with his reasoning on why he is qualified.

@[TexMuscle](/user/show/10002223) That was a big oops on someone's part. He was absolutely not supposed to be able to choose what is effectively the _brat tamer_ character class.
