> Rereading it, I noticed just how short many of those scenes are. > And this chapter is the shortest in the whole series, too. > You’ve got a great way of giving us just enough tantalizing detail, then cutting away to get the reader imagine what’s happened (which can be even hotter than graphically depicting it). > That's old school horror movie technique -- if I don't show it to you, you have to imagine it yourself, which is ALWAYS infinitely greater/ worse than what would be shown. You're exactly right!

This chapter has some of my favorite scenes (like Tony and his father, plus Snake and the middle-aged bikers). Rereading it, I noticed just how short many of those scenes are. You've got a great way of giving us just enough tantalizing detail, then cutting away to get the reader imagine what's happened (which can be even hotter than graphically depicting it).

>I think I mentioned this long ago, but the main thing that “gets” me about this story... is that there is no sex. Sure the guys stick their dicks into the plant, but there’s no sex. > I hate to be the bearer of bad news: Book Two has sex. Sorry. > I can’t tell you how many times I’ve j/o thinking of various parts of the story > Mission Accomplished! Most of my stories begin as masturbation/ sexual fantasies of mine and I just develop the scenario. That they cause you to riff on my theme, or imagine you're a character as you j/o is exactly how I intend them. That makes me happy!

> I’m hoping Coach and his wrestling team get pollinated some time in this story. You know I appreciate your wrestling perspectives. > Heeheehee I have a life-long buddy (a wrestling coach) who always says to me, "Wrestling again? What is it with you?" And I'll say, "But it's so gay!" And his wife will say, "You two get a room!"

Wow, absman420. You've really reworked a lot. The scene with the boys felt like a kind of filler in version 1, but here you've made it so much more integral to the plot. You've built up Tony's initial resistance so much that when he finally does get the plant it's much more significant. And the thread with Murdock and the old man is also revised in a way that I really like. I think I mentioned this long ago, but the main thing that "gets" me about this story (asides from being one of the hottest stories on this site) is that there is no sex. Sure the guys stick their dicks into the plant, but there's no sex. And yet it's one the most sexiest stories. I can't tell you how many times I've j/o thinking of various parts of the story.

Robby Ray Robby Ray Robby Ray (if you get the meaning, if not, no matter...and the original is Bobby Ray) What a fun series this is going to be. I so like Rubbersome's Pollination and can't wait to follow this journey. I'm hoping Coach and his wrestling team get pollinated some time in this story. You know I appreciate your wrestling perspectives.

> If anything, her inclusion adds to the realism and gives the story meaningful conflict in her vying against the efforts of her now-rogue partner. > I think what's interesting is they all view her as a threat and she has no idea of that. > I’m definitely looking forward to more of her, and discovering what her ultimate fate will be. Will she be killed? Changed in a different way? > I don't think I'll kill her. @rubbrsome did some fun work on this story and used her as a featured character -- I liked what he did, though I don't think it's "canon". I had some fun with her in Book Two and want to see her some more, too. But I really don't know anybody's final fate yet.

Personally, I feel that the inclusion of a female character, when done right, is not a bad thing in a gay sex story. If anything, her inclusion adds to the realism and gives the story meaningful conflict in her vying against the efforts of her now-rogue partner. I'm definitely looking forward to more of her, and discovering what her ultimate fate will be. Will she be killed? Changed in a different way? Allowed to remain wholly human as the world is overtaken, thus providing us with an outside perspective to the very end? This story as a whole is tantalizing in it's possibilities, as well, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest!
