I don't think any of this is new, @nycboot (see https://archive2007.muscle-growth.org/stories/1717.html if you want to make comparisons). It's still VERY hot though.

I've not gone back to the original version but the military involvement is totally new, yes? Your more detailed description of Bowden is wonderful. And I also like your description of how the plant is taking over Murdock (and presumably everyone else). In the original story you just had many take-overs, but now you describe what happens. Fabulous! Now I have to go relieve myself because the arousal is too much. :)

i always loved the part with the military. When this story first came out, i had a friend that I had a huge crush on join the army, and I always pictured him as the jarhead that gets transformed- that fantasy has gotten me off many times in the past, hopefully he will make an appearance in Book 2!

> are you planning on bringing back some characters from the og story such as Mike Milano ? > It has always been my intent to leave the Original Story pristine, as a complete stand-alone. I never wanted this story to be thought of as a sequel or continuation of the Original. Even as I'm gathering these characters together in Book Two, I've only played with the idea of a cameo -- but rejected it. Same reason.

Yeah, the opening scene with Robbie Ray was just a grabber, right? It's irrelevant to the story...unless you plan to bring back air travel. (And if so, why not Mike Milano...)

> It’s a shame FLYING back to Kansas wasn’t an option for these big guys, unless you tweaked it from the original? > Nope -- no flying. At least, not if Tully was right and that's what killed Robbie Ray....?

> Rereading it, I noticed just how short many of those scenes are. > And this chapter is the shortest in the whole series, too. > You’ve got a great way of giving us just enough tantalizing detail, then cutting away to get the reader imagine what’s happened (which can be even hotter than graphically depicting it). > That's old school horror movie technique -- if I don't show it to you, you have to imagine it yourself, which is ALWAYS infinitely greater/ worse than what would be shown. You're exactly right!
