Great work. I’d love to see what’s going on elsewhere in the frat

The Cardinal and Father Ray... _damn!_ As an animal roleplayer and Christian at base, this scene really hit home - the struggle for reconciliation is real. Your deft handling of the religious/spiritual/worship aspects of these people and this world is - pardon the pun - an ongoing revelation. Makes me think you may have felt the call to ministry at some point in your past... (if there's resurrection down the road, or even apparition, it would be nice to see how Seth and Pete are faring, if there's anything left of who we knew... just a thought for absent friends.) great work, please don't stop :) awoo.

@[HypnoMutt](/user/show/10023035) What is particularly interesting is the very dynamics of it all. St.Francis of Assisi was said to have been a great mystic and humble friar- a far cry from many of the weres we have seen. St.Andrew is particularly intriguing with his head being a wolf, and the lower being a man- yet carrying the children over. It's a stark contrast to what we see of weres often seeing humans as unimportant, useful pawns or acceptable collateral damage (Frank) for the greater good. Granted, not all weres are like this, but mileage varies. If these past figures were weres, many others likely were present amongst the monasteries and clergy. The fact that Chavez is a cardinal implies he climbed up the catholic corporate ladder even as a were- and others may have done the same in the past. A story on that alone would be intriguing- Chavez's life. And it's likely the same for other groups. Though what also intrigues me is Chavez's understanding of the divine- it seems to be a kind of bithiesm. Trithiesm was historically condemned at several early councils, so how folks like St.Francis and other faithful weres incorporated reverence to Luna in christian thought without ruffling orthodox feathers is a very interesting thing to ponder over. I imagine it may have taken some form of saint like understanding or some manner of subordinate power aspect (something like Lady wisdom- Sophia- in gnostic views which shares similarites to understandings of the shekinah or the concept of Holy Wisdom.) Doing so would avoid getting too many curious stares and make it somewhat passable. Interestingly this also implies St.Francis's canticle of the sun and his verses on "sister moon" in that canticle are probably a reflection on his reverence for Luna in this universe.

Not gonna lie, i really liked this story~! and i think my fave part was the flip of expectations! especially how, after the whole frat goes gay, the one gay dude wants to play straight. don't get me wrong, it's sad that winston doesn't get to enjoy being out with eric. rationally, that's kinda shitty for winston EXCEPT i LOVE that Eric is getting to live out this super kinky fantasy for the immediate future tho.

Well FUCK! A blistering hot chapter! The new pups seem to be settling in nicely- as strange and ethically suspect as the isolation and indoctrination is, it certainly does seem to have good results for helping them transition smoothly into their new lives- Father Ray seems to be taking it hard, but Mo seems to have adjusted well- every man has their limits, it seems. It seems like there is strong animosity between different species of weres- or at least animal instincts keep them from getting along peacefully. Glad to see Oakley harbors no ill will, but I'm hoping to see him try to keep feeling out the relationship- Yousef's dream has me thinking that he's too important to suddenly fade out now that his role as romantic false lead has played its course. The scene of Yousef and Mo forming their mate bond was sexy, taboo-shattering, and funny in equal measure- everyone seemingly as aroused as they were shocked/mortified. Seems like some taboos still run deep among weres- or rather, a taboo that has never been challenged before! Kinda sly and shitty of Tom and the others to keep Yousef in the dark for Mo's whole captivity, but it has worked out in the end! This was, I think, the natural conclusion. I kind of wish we could've seen more of Yousef's initial horrified reaction to realizing that the mondjugen he doubtless played with under Luna's light was his own father. So curious to see what everyone's after-action takes are... Interesting to see the packs try and play nice. Doubtless Haig's scheme and the creation of the no-go zone in the national park shook up a lot of packs- we just haven't been privy to their turmoil. Wonder how long the good times will last...
