If what happened to Murdock after meeting the Great One is anything to go by, I think it's safe to say that any bonded men who meet Him get fully taken over by their symbionts, which in turn get fully enthralled to the Great One's will. Which is to say, most of our cast of characters are essentially dead- erasure of personality is such an erotically twisted trope in mind-control stories. This, of course, raises several questions about the Deputy once he is transformed into a Great One. The obvious implication is that some combination of Lane, Snake, and Rugby Boy will be enthralled to Deputy Great One. I can see Lane's arrogance coming back to bite him in the ass; getting enslaved and erased by the very being he sought to control would be deliciously ironic. Of course, this does raise the question of what happens with Snake and Rugby Boy: the affection between them is so palpable I can see them making it out of this with their individuality intact, but at the same time, I'm expecting the tragically sexy twist of one or both coming under the Deputy's sway. If that is the case, I think Rugby Boy is the more likely of the pair, thus presenting Snake with the cruel choice of having to flee and have to deal with his grief while still resisting, or submit and join his new lover in slavery to the Deputy.

The sheriff may end up telling the new great deputy "I submit to muscle". Another Absman classic that can keep me hard.

I'm not sure if im confusing this with another story, but it seems this one has been edited since it was published and is missing most of the story i read the first time

> I really enjoy the Sheriff’s and Snake’s “rebellion.” Snake calls it resistance but I see more rebellion in the Sheriff > Absolutely agree! As a matter of fact, in Chapter 16, you will see just how committed the Sheriff is to this idea. > I can’t really say the Deputy is a bad man, just a loyal one. > I don't think it's the Deputy that's the problem. Imagine you're some kind of Machiavellian Dom Puppetmaster and you "create" a super-powered being who's completely within your control? The weapon's not bad, right? It's just there to be used.

> Power tends to corrupt. But absolute power corrupts absolutely. "Great men are almost always bad men" is how it continues, but I can't really say the Deputy is a bad man, just a loyal one.

I really enjoy the Sheriff's and Snake's "rebellion." Snake calls it resistance but I see more rebellion in the Sheriff, to the point of cumming before the Great One can make him. Excited to see where it leads to. It was a large and dangerous cock......can I steal that one day?

> Definitely want to see what type of great one the Deputy will become. Felt a bit sad reading that exchange between him and the Sheriff before the transformation began. > > Excited for the deputies transformation. > The Sheriff seems pretty confident that he can control the Deputy -- but what's that saying? "Power tends to corrupt. But absolute power corrupts absolutely." Yeah, that's the one.... > Absman is keeping me hard all day long just with the thought in the back of my mind. > Success! To me, this is the difference between erotica and a jack-off story. Erotica stays with you, infiltrates your thoughts, corrupts your fantasies. Not that there aren't whack-off moments within the erotic novel, but I think it's the stuff that stays with you that matters more.

Excited for the deputies transformation. The load in his ass from earlier in the morning should be doing it's job. Hope the sheriff keeps his tank full while the great flower does it's work. Absman is keeping me hard all day long just with the thought in the back of my mind.

At first read, I thought the Staff Sergeant was teasing Devin but you do say he's faking it. So there's still hope Devin will be a familiar to them. Definitely want to see what type of great one the Deputy will become. Felt a bit sad reading that exchange between him and the Sheriff before the transformation began.

> love this story. but would love to read longer chapters at once. > That's the one thing I'm trying to be consistent about between Book One and Book Two: chapter length. John Byrne said it should take as much time to read a comic book as the average crap lasts. I believe that's true of serialized erotica, too. Just long enough to wank.... I love that you're a real reader, but I don't want length to intimidate.... so instead, bite-sized chunks that frequently change POV to maintain interest from the short-attention scan crowd. It might be best for you to wait and read it all at once when it's all published. > maybe a twist that those units drone “break free” and assimilate their creators ? > Something remarkably similar happens in chap 18 which I hope will satisfy this stray thought.
