The scenes with Yousef and Mo are just… SEARINGLY hot. Amazing stuff. Can’t get enough of them together and figuring out their new dynamic. They’ll be in for a wild family get-together some point in the future haha. I think one of the things that really draws me to them is that idea of reconnection and love being birthed between two people, two men, related or not, all because of Luna. To me, it’s beautiful and the way you depict it feels so lovely—and hot. Can’t wait to read more!

@[Kibble The Satyr](/user/show/10010407) Honestly, "searing" really is the best way to describe it!

Extremely hot, excited to see more of this. Almost as excited to see what comes of the agreement Alex signed.

I have much the same feeling as DBar. Hopefully someone Masterful will note what's going on and stop the torture.

@[ParadoxBear](/user/show/10002417) To be honest I think Mullins was doomed down this path for a while now. He seems to have grown increasingly power hungry and since he didn't care much for trying to remember his human life's he's just like this now. I always felt he may wind up like this and it's tragic to see who he once was and what he is now. It's a bitter lesson on how wolfhood can bring out the darkness in people. Tom I think warning Yousef of what can come of that seems even more urgent now. Toddson has been very shifty for a while now so him doing something like this does make sense. His plan makes sense but with how much disdain he seems to have for human custom and the like I doubt any of his familiar would be treated all that great. Bill is really close to snapping but I hope he doesn't wind up hurt- he's the only person we saw trying to help Frank. Hopefully Oakley isn't hurt too badly. The other issue is that if too many people become familiars people will notice. Toddson may well wind up making the mistakes Pete made if he gets too cocky. And we all know how that ended.

Toddson is pushing his luck. I previously thought he was a fair, if pragmatic Alpha. But now he's kidnapping familiars? To what purpose? Also, sounds like he's trying to get a leg up in the Alpha Council. Trying to prearrange a trade, or a land transfer? His line about firefighters makes it sound like he wants to enthrall some of the emergency services workers in Everett, a subtler but more nefarious version of Pete's infiltration of the police department. Whatever affection I had for Mullins has dried up... he's truly his Alpha's Second, now. The sex between Mo and Yus was delicious. Watching their dynamic evolve and deepen is delightful. Poor Oakley is in for a major disappointment... Bill seems about ready to try and kill Nando. Hopefully the attempt doesn't come at an inopportune time. Which, of course, means it will... Here's hoping one of them gets traded to a new pack at some point before they come to blows...

Well...this is interesting, and a bit of a mess. Yousef and his father seems to be settling in well but well...there still is the fact that he and his dad have to figure out how to navigate their human family. I doubt either wants to abandon them. And Oakley is in the mix as well...Mahmood's jealousy is something I am a bit worried about. Hopefully if things can't progress, Oakley can move off amicably. Though it seems they are figuring out how to navigate things. The reference to Schezerade's tales is nice...though hopefully these two never have to say stories to avoid death. I wonder when we're going to start seeing them navigate their cultural background like Rey has with Chavez in light of their new state of being. It seems Ray has met Alpha Spencer during an alcoholics meeting or both have been affiliated with such in the past. It's good to know that they seem...somewhat familiar in that they've experienced the struggle of alcoholism. In particular, I think Ray struggling with not going for the bottle after sensory overload makes sense. I just hope he can keep being involved with the church even as a layperson in some way.... if not as a priest. Spencer seems kind but who knows as an alpha what he may be dealing with. Coups seem to be in season right now. Chavez seems to want to wean Ray off from human baggage, but the question becomes what defines "baggage". They both seem to genuinely be faithful, and that makes what "baggage" is somewhat complex. Toddson as always is his cynical self, but it's clear Chavez genuinely believes in what he says- he's not making things up. Though speaking of Toddson...I had a feeling he'd do something eventually- but to target Paul...and Mullins seems in on this too? That's....not going to end well for either of them. Though honestly, Mullins was starting to edge into being power hungry anyway. On the other hand, whatever happened to Toddson's sister-in-law? Clearly nothing good. And that mysterious caller and letter giver is still about- are they a hunter? I do hope that somebody at least tries to help out with Frank. Bill was researching- but I think something is going to happen with him. He's been feeling alienated and that likely won't end well. I don't think Mahmood is going to like the fact somebody was made a collateral sacrifice over it who wasn't guilty of anything. He likely knows a little too well from the war in Lebanon likely how logic can that can be used to cause terrible things. And even if in this case there was no other way...it's not something I think Mahmood would ever find comfortable.

This is one of those stories that I never thought I would enjoy but ended up being a very good, thought-provoking (and yes, hot) read. The focus on Robin's love for Jack and his sorrow for his last golem's fate was emotionally involving in a profound way. It was beautiful when Jack/Junior sprouted and Robin was able to work through his trauma through tending and loving the seedling. The relationship helped him to process and accept what he had done with his powers and, in choosing to give them up, had thereby gained much more than he could have known. Thank you for writing this story and for sharing it with us. It was a way to explore love and intimacy in an entirely new way for me. :sparkling_heart: :potted_plant:
