> horrible hopefully you do not write anymore, in this time it is a true disgust to speak of ancient Egyptians and everything related to pyramids. The pyramids really are disgusting, a real shit. I hate the pyramids. This must be the weirdest comment on this site ever. Especially the rant about Native Americans being the best. If you really think that: Having a history of being discriminated (as the Native Americans have) does in no way justify to discriminate other peoples. And that's exactly what you're doing. Please keep your hate away from this site. It's not welcome! And your comment against the author and his story is even less welcome. You may criticize, but without any personal insult and not just based on your own prejudices.

Wait, what? Somehow, a modern-day Egyptian kid named Ramses is assumed to tie into the ancient Egyptian Ramses? We see nothing of that in the story until the very end, when he's referred to as "my king", which could be taken several different ways. Maybe it's meant to say he actually *is* ancient Ramses reborn (which there's certainly some suggestion of in the story), or maybe it's nothing more than a coincidental name, and Matt's just making a play on words at the end. To the anonymous poster, I'd like to suggest to you that your hangups over ancient Egypt are just that: *your* hangups. There's no reason to take them out on anyone else. Yes, there were a lot of bad things that happened there, but there were a lot of bad things that happened throughout pretty much *every* period in human history. Slavery, serfdom, and even the modern-day upper/lower-class distinction just seems to be a division the human race is prone to making. It sucks, but it is what it is. And how you pivot all that to be about Native Americans being the best without realizing the irony of your statement is just beyond me. Saying one particular heritage is better than all the others is itself racism, no matter how you look at it.
