I just went and did some ratings for chapter 2. While yes, I do prefer the blank Danny to slutty Danny (LOL) I do find slutty Danny really hot too. What I think for me is more of a difference between chapter 1 and chapter 2 is this... - In chapter 1 Danny becomes this blank sex doll type of person. Noah is pretty upset at what he has done, even knowing it's what Danny wanted, but what I find REALLY hot is how even as upset as he is, Noah's lust is totally in control. He uses Danny every which way for the whole weekend. I am turned on by how Noah's lust is so much stronger than his moral objections to what he has done to Danny. - In chapter 2 it was more planned by both of them -- Noah has his monthly check-in stipulation, Danny has come up with some kind of alternative personality instead of just being a blank. For these reasons, I don't see Noah's angst as nearly as strong, or as warranted. And yet it doesn't turn into a month-long fuckfest where Noah gets to do everything he wants with this very slutty obliging version of Danny. There's the initial sexual contact and then he makes slutty Danny stop. The new Danny's insistence and whining for more and how hungry he is for Noah's cum makes Noah think he needs to figure something out here (hence the possible directions the story could take). So in chapter 2, Noah isn't as angst-ridden, and also the abandon-yourself-to-the-lust component isn't there either. It's interesting. It's very hot. Hotter than most stories I come across. But chapter 1 really was mind-blowing for me (no pun intended). I don't usually write long comments like these. LOL. I don't know what's up with me. Usually my comments are along the lines of: "So fuckin hot. I came 3 times before I got thru the whole thing." Yeah, that sounds more like me. HAHA

Another super strong chapter. Can't wait to see how this pans out.

I love the magical realism in this story and the vivid descriptions that accompany the setting and its supernatural inhabitants. Daki and Taba’s interactions are very convincing and already foreshadow an interesting relationship between them. (I also enjoyed the description of the food that Daki ate under the tree - it made me hungry!) The concluding sentence of the chapter > The 22-year-old would be lying if he said he wasn’t excited. is a fantastic cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next part of the story!

OK, so I did really like this chapter. It was a bit different for me than the first one. In the first one when Danny is put under he's kind of a blank. But it seems that when he gets told he's going to be going under for at least a month at a time, he prepares another personality that he's going to take on when he's under. Now that's very different. I don't know what it says about me that I am more turned on by a blank drone than the sexy slutty version that appears. Don't get me wrong -- I'm turned on by both!... but if I had to choose... LOL So it wasn't until the end that I asked myself "What was the little trick that Gerald told him at the end that we weren't privy to?" And then I decided it must be to use the wooden chest and have Danny put what he wanted to be into the chest first, then take everything away, and then bring back just what Danny had put in the chest. But that wasn't immediately obvious to me as I was reading. I think maybe the reason chapter 1 and the blank Danny turned me on more than super slutty Danny is that I could understand Noah's horror at what he had done, and that made his lust and all the sex they had even hotter to me because it was despite that horror. In chapter 2 since this is the personality Danny hand picked -- and apparently with no input from Noah because it was a total surprise -- then it's just what Danny wanted to be. So Noah interacting with the new slutty Danny doesn't have the same conflict on Noah's part for me. If anything Noah pulls back because of the really needy and bratty behavior of slutty Danny. As for a name... I don't have a specific suggestion but depending on what you plan to do with this character, I thought something with a little nefarious edge to it might be appropriate. I just got a feeling that the new personality might have a darker side. His desires are on overdrive and he's very insistent that he wants what he wants. I think a character like that would perhaps do some darker/evil things to get what they want. Or if the new personality begins to realize that a return of the old Danny means he will cease to exist he might want to prevent that. It occurred to me before it occurred to Noah that bringing Danny back means having him open up that jar of all his old self and take it all back on. It probably also means taking the slutty personality and removing it/putting it back into the trunk first. Neither of those things is guaranteed that slutty Danny will want to do. I also had this little idea pop into my head -- although I'm hesitant to voice it because once I suggest it I doubt you'd want to use it. Spoilers and all that, I guess. But here goes. Danny didn't really like the idea of being brought back every month. So what if Danny thinks he outsmarted Noah on that point. What if he created this slutty personality to take over when he was under, and one of the hidden directives for this slutty personality was to prevent Noah from bringing him back at the end of a month, even just for a check-in? Now there may be various ways of doing this but one way I thought of was for the new personality to PRETEND to be Danny again just for the brief check-in. But the old Danny was never really brought back. Maybe Noah would have suspected something at the end of the first month when he did the check-in.... something about the old Danny that just didn't seem right... some mannerism or personality quirk the new personality isn't doing quite right and doesn't even know it... but he puts Danny back under (which isn't actually doing anything because he was never brought out of the trance) and then the next month during the check-in he already has his suspicions and is watching for signs that it isn't really Danny. It was just an idea that went through my head is all. And then as for a vote for what to do next... I say go back to Gerald. Whoring him out to strangers doesn't seem like something Noah would want to do, and taking him to a bar or club and letting slutty Danny go at all the men is basically the same thing... it's just taking Danny to the men rather than bringing the men one by one to Danny.
