I can't find the words... I enjoyed the wishes this chapter, the changes to the world, the unique justice... Then, the void... I have no words, but... Hauntingly beautiful, comes to mind... sad and heartbreaking, painful... that left me sobbing. Can't wait for more!

I don't get how you keep topping yourself like this. Must be a jock and a nerd ;) seriously though... I'm so impressed. And turned on. Congrats and thank you.

A basically perfect story haha. Super hot sex, characters that feel alive, fun mind control... hope there's a dozen more chapters waiting in the wings. I especially like that the drone kink isn't erasing personalities for more than a few seconds at a time. I love the nanobots mind control thing, but when people talk like robots in the middle of sex it kinda loses me. This is a really fun mix of vibes!

I doubt the plan works on the others. Hypnosis is mind control. So they still get a choice.

Intriguing setting and concept, I can tell that you've put a lot of thought into it so I'm looking forward to seeing you exploring it. Looks like there's going to be a lot of focus on the psychological aspects of the transformation, given you've got a cast of characters who don't feel like they have much going for them/don't feel they have much to look forward to I can see this getting pretty heavy. With the transformed objects seemingly reaching 'acceptance' hopefully things will end up more or less ok, but I suspect that it's a situation where things will get worse before they get better. Either way, I'm really curious to see what you have in store for this characters/how they'll develop going forward.

Incredible. So sweet and sexy. The transformation aspect was hot. The ethical and consent dilemmas were well integrated. Your writing style and phrasing were spot-on. And, man… the attention to detail was just mind blowing. Great job. My compliments to the chef!

@[Perpetually Erect](/user/show/10018717) Thank you very much! I tossed up restructuring the first 8k words here. I'm really verbose and quite irreverent at the best of times, and I was worried about the amount of exposition I had here. But instead of rewriting, I realized I could do my best to channel Pratchett[^pratchettnote], and just kick my fanciful pleonasm into overdrive. I'm really glad that you appreciated the result. This chef has been very moved by your compliments. [^pratchettnote]: Specifically, his conversational diction in his narration, his irreverent approach to language, and the brilliant way his lighthearted, wholesome stories explore complex ethical dilemmas; an outstanding writer gone before his time.

Content Warning: Mention of abusive relationships. I am so, so, SO glad I stuck around to read the rest of this story--I can't thank you enough, @Naedre, for being so kind and messaging me to sort it out. Because this is one of the best things I've read in years--not just on this website, but PERIOD. It's always funny when people ask me what good books/stories I've been reading lately, and I have to leave out the ones from GSS ("Oh, it's called...'Curse of 100 Bottoms'...). What stands out most for me in this chapter is that we're seeing inside Riley's head. Not only is a fascinating look at how the spell works (Riley being aware of the absence of things is particularly fun), but it's a sadly realistic look at how people in abusive relationships end up feeling about the people who the abuser actively isolates them from. The scene where Riley lists how much he hates Tyler because Tyler is kind, considerate, and genuinely loving--all the things that Brian *isn't*--breaks my heart open. Riley knows that he doesn't deserve to be a slave, and further that he loves Tyler, even though Brian's "programming" makes him angry about it. I admit that I'm a sucker for "love conquers all" stories, and seeing that happen here makes me happy. I hope that Riley's love of Tyler, and Tyler's love of Riley, win out in the end! Speaking of winning out, you've done an excellent job at laying a potential way for Brian to lose. Tyler, Noah, and Joe are all safe from any sort of mind control--presumably including Riley's new hypnotic abilities--but while Brian wished himself to be "protected in every way" from the trio, he *didn't* include Riley on the list, as he thought he didn't have to worry about his slave rebelling. So now Brian is trapped alone with a man who (again thanks to Brian's "say yes whenever I make a change to myself" wish) is producing the same pheromones that make people vulnerable to hypnosis and *has the explicit power of hypnotizing anyone he talks to.* Here comes karma! :D That's another awesome aspect of this chapter--after seeing into Brian's head and what a selfish, horrible, morally bankrupt person he is, we get to see the consequences of those traits. He can't imagine that Tyler, Noah, and Joe won't say yes to the pheromone wish because he can't imagine anyone not wanting to be cruel and dominating. And his ego is so enormous that he never even considered that a wish-granting immortal djinn would be more powerful than him; the image of Brian uselessly throwing a tantrum and demanding Javi obey him at the chapter's end was the perfect contrast to how much I hated him at the end of his POV chapter. Finally, I also want to commend you on discussing the different versions of love in the world and how difficult it is to express them ("English is a stupid fucking language" is PERFECT). You show that sexual, romantic, platonic, and friendship love can exist simultaneously among different people, and that's a rare thing to see. In short, this story is truly special. Thank you for writing it, and sharing it with all of us! :)

@[Feed Your Head](/user/show/1170832) Hey man, thank you for this incredibly thoughtful post. I also appreciated messaging you about the direction of the story and our discussion on what a guy like Brian looks like in the real world. And I love all the speculating you and others are doing about what happens next and why. Some people have some pretty good ideas. (No! I'm certainly not rewriting anything to incorporate your better ideas!) In all honesty, next chapter I think will be very unexpected for everyone, before we return to the saga of Brian and Riley in Chapter 11. Chapter 10 is one of my favorites, but... well... it is a change of pace.
