Really hot all throughout. Loved the constant struggle for dominance, both internal and external. And a very sweet ending. Sorry to not leave a longer comment but I’m typing one handed here lol

@[ganymedesJockstrap](/user/show/10002453) Typing one-handed is a compliment in and of itself! Good to hear the whole thing is hot, there's not penetrative sex in every chapter so I was a little worried, but I was pretty sure the mindfuckery and intense homoeroticism would make up for it. Glad you enjoyed.

You know what? Chase is happy, Caspian is happy, Hunter is happy, hell I'm sure even Hawk is happy, so I'm happy! Exceptional story, Soren, especially since I know you've spent a long time working on it, so I'm really glad to see it finally come to fruition. I especially love the way that the act of bottoming and being a frat bottom was portrayed in this story - whereas Hawk and his allies saw it as a tool of degradation and submission, Hunter used it as a means of taking control and pride. It was just all very well done. Great job, Soren! You should take a lot of pride in what you created here!

@[Franco Apollo](/user/show/10029736) Yeah, exploring the role of bottoming and submitting in this story was really fun for me! I redesigned Consummation a bit for this story and made it a world with this sort of... stigma toward being 'easy', submitting too easily, being too slutty. An analogy to toxic masculinity that wasn't about _bottoming_ exactly, just submitting. But because frat warfare is so angled toward topping, the fact that Hunter could best Hawk just by powerbottoming him was humiliating as fuck to Hawk, even if he and the frat didn't verbally recognise it. Hunter realising that 'being a hungry bottom' could also mean 'being a stud' was important for him. Is it the most wholesome ending philosophically? Maybe not, since the expectation is that, to be a 'stud', Hunter has to put the work into powerbottoming--it's an unrealistic expectation for everyone who wants to bottom. But that's just how things are in this world. Either way, it works for _him_. Thanks so much for reading through the whole thing. It was a blast to write and I'm proud of it.

wow - this is _so very well done!_ The pacing is excellent, and the slow slow drive to the conclusion kept me rapt with interest.

@[Hansel-2](/user/show/10057440) Why thank you so much for the compliment. I put a fair amount of work into this, so I’m glad it worked for you. I have some doubts that some readers won’t have the patience for the slower buildup, but I thought it was necessary given the nature of the story. I’m guessing you are interested in a follow up?

🫡 🙏 Stunning, thrilling, deeply moving, tragic and uncompromising, compelling from start to finish. The depth of the abuse Max suffered is rough to read, but as we see the effect of Cody's relentless care and love, it's more than redemption - it's profound in a way that's more than just a happy ending. In the end, it was the music that saved them, and that's what I'll remember most. Brilliant and beautiful. Thank you so much.

What a stunning piece of work. It’s the perfect gift for the start of the year. I’m fascinated by how the narrative balances the grotesque with a constant sense of sensuality. The interdependence between the cowboy and the drone is so seamless, and the elements of 'breaking the chains' are arranged so logically. I especially appreciated your persistence with the scenes where the drone must force itself to ignore its physiological responses—it works for me ;) Truly an impressive and moving story . Thank you for sharing your work with us.
